Microsoft Designer - What’s New for Creative Users

Microsoft Designer is a graphic design and image editing application powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), now available to all users with a personal Microsoft account. The new features of Designer enhance ways of expression and bring creative ideas to life in seconds. Just describe what you want, and Designer can create it for you. 


 
Designer is now accessible through Copilot in some Microsoft 365 web applications and PC applications. With a Copilot Pro subscription, users working in Word or PowerPoint can create images and designs on the spot. In both tools, simply click the Copilot icon and describe a picture you want to create. In Word, it will soon be possible to request the creation of a banner for the document, generated based on the content.

In this new phase of Designer, Microsoft has introduced new ways of creation so that each user can make even more use of the application, such as:

• New prompt suggestions: Help kickstart the creative process with ideas, styles, and pre-filled descriptions that can be tested and customized, making it easier for users to learn.
• Creation of personalized stickers: Share ideas, thoughts, or phrases, and Designer will create personalized stickers to stand out in messaging apps and social media. You can also create emojis, clip art, wallpapers, monograms, avatars, and more.
• Personalized cards: Create cards with individual messages or personalized invitations for birthdays, graduation ceremonies, and more, simply by describing what you want to see.
• Restyle image: Transform any photo into a work of art. Just upload an image, choose a style, and add extra details to get a completely new image.
• Personalized image frames: Turn photos into shareable memories. Upload an image, write a description, or choose a style to get a personalized frame. For multiple images, create collages by selecting photos, choosing a style, and adding a description to further personalize.
