A new AI assistant to improve productivity and creativity.
Microsoft Copilot - the everyday Artificial Intelligence partner

As of November 1, Microsoft 365 Copilot will be generally available to business customers, along with Microsoft 365 Chat, a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) assistant that will completely transform how people work. Microsoft is thus taking a big step towards unifying its AI capabilities, making Microsoft Copilot the AI companion app for every day.

Microsoft Copilot will use the context and intelligence of the web, work data, and what the user is doing at that moment to assist, guaranteeing security and privacy. This tool aims to improve productivity, and creativity and give users more autonomy, making technology more accessible through a universal interface: natural language.

Copilot is integrated into Microsoft 365 and is incorporated into applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and others. From now on, you can be more creative in Word, analytical in Excel, expressive in PowerPoint, productive in Outlook, and collaborative in Teams.

Microsoft Copilot is available on Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and browsers such as Edge and Bing and works as an app or can be used by right-clicking.

Areas impacted by Microsoft Copilot

  • With over 150 new features, the next Windows update is one of Microsoft's most ambitious ever, bringing the power of Copilot and AI-powered experiences to apps like Paint, Photos, Clipchamp, and the Windows PC.
  • The Bing browser now supports OpenAI's latest DALL.E 3 model, new experiences for online shopping, updates to Bing Chat Enterprise, and more.

Microsoft announces new features

In addition to Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft has announced new features, powered by the latest AI models, in Bing and Edge to enhance users' daily lives:

  • Customized replies
The chat history will now save the results. If you prefer answers that don't rely on the chat history, you can disable this feature in Bing settings.

  • Copilot in Microsoft Shopping
From Bing or Edge, you can now find what you're buying online more quickly. When you request information about an item, Bing asks additional questions to find out more and then uses this information to offer more customized recommendations.

  • OpenAI Model 3 in Bing Image Creator
DALL-E 3 represents a quantum leap toward more beautiful creations and better renders, in details such as fingers and eyes. It also has a better understanding of what users are asking for, which results in the delivery of more accurate images.

  • Content credentials
As Microsoft continues to take a responsible approach to generative AI, we've added content credentials, using cryptographic methods to add an invisible digital watermark to all AI-generated images on Bing, including the date and time it was created.

  • Bing Chat Enterprise updates
Bing Chat Enterprise is now available in the Microsoft Edge mobile app. There is now also support for multimodal visual search and Image Creator for Bing Chat Enterprise. A tool for teams to increase creativity at work, with the ability to find information using images and create them.
